Terms & Conditions — Onya Coaching & Onya Equi
(Including Online Coaching, In-Person Coaching, Programmes, Classes, SUP Lessons & Digital Products)

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services and products provided by Onya Coaching and Onya Equi (“we”, “us”).
By booking, purchasing, or participating in any service or programme, you (“the client”, “participant”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Nature of Services
Onya Coaching and Onya Equi provide a mixture of:

in-person coaching
-
online coaching services
-
classes and lessons
-
self-directed digital fitness programmes
Self-directed digital programmes provide general fitness, strength, and mobility guidance only. They are non-personalised and do not include individual assessment, bespoke programming, medical advice, or ongoing supervision unless explicitly stated.
When purchasing a self-directed programme, you are responsible for determining whether it is suitable for your health, fitness level, and circumstances.
2. Booking & Required Information (Coached Services Only)
To provide safe and appropriate coaching services, participants in coached sessions may be required to complete:

a registration or consultation questionnaire
-
a PAR-Q or medical questionnaire
-
an informed consent and liability waiver
These documents are reviewed only for coached services where individual programme design, progression, or supervision is provided.
You must provide accurate and honest information and notify us promptly of any changes to health, medication, injury, pregnancy, or ability that may affect participation.
We reserve the right to decline or postpone coached participation if we believe it is unsafe for you to take part.
3. Self-Directed Programmes — Health Self-Check
For self-directed digital programmes, no medical screening or individual review of health information is carried out by us.
Before beginning any self-directed programme, you should consider the following questions.
If you answer YES to any, you should seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional before starting:

Have you experienced chest pain, dizziness, fainting, or unusual shortness of breath during exercise?

Do you have a heart, circulatory, respiratory, or neurological condition?
-
Do you have a current injury, persistent pain, or medical condition that could affect exercise?
-
Have you recently had surgery or been advised to restrict physical activity?
-
Are you pregnant or recently postpartum?
-
Do you take medication that affects heart rate, blood pressure, balance, or exercise tolerance?

Has a healthcare professional ever advised you to avoid certain types of exercise?
Participation in self-directed programmes is voluntary and undertaken at your own discretion.
Responsibility for determining suitability rests with you.
4. Payments
All services must be paid for in full before bookings or programme access are confirmed.
Prices are as listed on the website unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Programmes, digital products, and online training plans are non-transferable.

You may cancel with 30 days’ notice before your next billing date
5. External Checkout & Platform Use
Some products and services are purchased via third-party platforms, including Trainerize and Stripe.
Where checkout occurs outside this website:

relevant information, policies, and links to these Terms & Conditions are provided prior to or during checkout

completion of purchase constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, regardless of the platform used
We are not responsible for technical issues relating to third-party platforms, payment processors, or app availability beyond our reasonable control.
6. Cancellations & Refunds — In-Person Coaching & SUP Lessons
If we cancel
If we cancel due to unsuitable weather (SUP), safety concerns, illness, or events outside our control, we will offer a rescheduled session.
If a suitable alternative cannot be agreed, a full refund will be provided.
If you cancel

More than 14 days before the session: Full refund

Between 14 and 3 days: 50% refund

Within 3 days: No refund
Block bookings and coaching packages

Plans are payable in advance

Dates are agreed in advance

Missed sessions due to client availability cannot be refunded

We will attempt to reschedule within the same week but cannot guarantee availability
-
If you become medically unable to train, with doctor’s confirmation, we may postpone your plan for up to 12 weeks

Once a block or package has started, no refunds are given
-
Any discretionary refund may be reduced to account for programme writing, reviews, assessments, or work already delivered
7. Cancellations & Refunds — Online Coaching & Digital Products
Online Coaching (Recurring Subscription)

Requires 30 days’ notice to cancel
-
No refunds are given for partial months or unused sessions
One-off Programmes & Digital Products
(e.g. rider programmes, on-demand workouts, templates)
Digital products are delivered immediately and are non-refundable once accessed, except where required by law.
8. Participant Responsibilities
You agree to:
-
arrive on time for in-person sessions
-
have appropriate equipment, clothing, and hydration
-
follow instructions and safety guidance provided
-
ensure your training environment, equipment, and technology are safe
-
train within your own limits and stop if you feel unwell
We reserve the right to stop a session if we believe participation is unsafe.
9. Alcohol & Drugs
We will not deliver sessions to anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
If suspected, the session will be cancelled immediately with no refund.
10. Behaviour & Safety
Participants must behave respectfully and follow all guidance.
We may end a session or remove access to coaching if behaviour is unsafe or inappropriate.
No refunds will be given if a participant is removed for these reasons.
11. SUP Coaching — Additional Terms

SUP is a water-based activity with inherent risks, including falling into water
-
Accurate weight must be provided to ensure appropriate equipment selection
-
Maximum board weight capacity is 120 kg
-
Participants must be physically able to swim and participate safely
-
Minimum age is 12; under-18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
-
You must arrive 20 minutes early to prepare equipment; late arrivals cannot extend into another session
12. Liability & Assumption of Risk
All physical activity carries inherent risks.
By booking or participating, you acknowledge that:

participation is voluntary and at your own risk
-
you may experience falls, collisions, injury, illness, or discomfort
Onya Coaching, Onya Equi, Core Flow, associated coaches, or partners are not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage except where required by law.
We strongly recommend appropriate personal insurance.
Where signing on behalf of a minor, you accept risk on their behalf.
13. Illness, Viruses & Natural Events
We are not liable for losses related to:
-
COVID-19 or other viruses
-
water-borne illness
-
weather conditions
-
natural disasters
-
injury or events beyond our control
14. Online Coaching — Programme Access
For online coaching and programmes, you understand that:
-
results depend on your consistency and adherence
-
coaching does not replace medical advice
-
access may be revoked if payments lapse
-
content must not be shared, copied, or distributed
15. Intellectual Property
All programme materials, videos, downloads, text, and training plans remain the intellectual property of Onya Coaching / Onya Equi.
They may not be copied, reproduced, or shared without written permission.
16. Complaints
If you have concerns, please contact us in writing so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
17. Declaration
By booking or purchasing any service or programme, you confirm that:

your registration details are accurate

you accept responsibility for your own health and participation

you understand the risks involved
-
you agree to follow instructions and guidance

you accept these Terms & Conditions in full
Where signing on behalf of a minor, you accept these terms on their behalf.
